Dear Ester, just sent you a friend request.  Hope you don’t find that weird.  If you don’t ‘friend’ patients I would understand fully.  I just think I won’t be a patient anymore – you did such a great job!

I don’t know if your secretary told you but I called in the other day but you were busy.  I just felt that I hadn’t thanked you enough for what you did. L and I are really back together now. (…)  

L is still a little fragile and unsure of me but I think I am cured because it no longer feels threatening or annoying, I just want to hold her closer and that seems to always take us a step forward.

Sorry for blathering on but I hope these few words give you the sense of how grateful I am to you for saving my marriage, making L smile again and for make me a more genuine person to know.
